Description
In GRASS7 a module/script like d.frame from GRASS 6 is missing. At time, there is only the GRASS environmental variable $GRASS_FRAME.
We need to visualize and export views of adjacent maps in a single monitor. At time there is no user-friendly solutions in GRASS7 since the calculation of the values for GRASS_FRAME is rather complex.

There is now G7:d.frame in 7.0. See example output in the documentation.
The component was wxGUI, if actually the main GUI is the issue, please report this as a separate ticket with suggestion for the interface.
