Description
Changes in view done by Pan and Rotate 3D scene from map display are not saved in the workspace and are not reflected for m.nviz.image. In contrary, View control settings are saved in workspace and also tracked for m.nviz.image.

For workspace, I fixed it in r61938 (backported in r61939). Panning works for both workspace and m.nviz.image. The only thing missing is reflecting the rotation in m.nviz.image, there is no parameter for this so far.
