Description
Previous releases had README file, it was apparently renamed to README.md which is now only available in the git repository, it is missing from the release tarball.

I guess README used to be included by default dist rule, as there's no mention of it in the Makefile.am. We should instead explicitly mention it now that it is called with .md extension
