== Overview ==

XLink support in GeoNetwork is rudimentary. Essentially the user can:

 * split a metadata record into subtemplates that are linked into a record
 * add any subtemplate to a metadata record in the editor
 * edit directories of subtemplates in Administration>Directories

This proposal will add:

 * a function to show and navigate to all records that link in a subtemplate in the Administration>Directories interface
 * a function to add subtemplates to the Administration>Directories interface
