The synchroniser updates EBRIM with ISO19139 data. So the data goes from ISO19139 to EBRIM, never the other way around. The synchroniser does this one time for existing data and later on for new data.
Other behavior:
- ebxml client only reads from GN
- ISO 19139 client can read and write (harvest)
- Synchroniser does a one time conversion of all the ISO 19139 data into EBRIM
- All information at course grained level can be found either via CSW/EBRIM or CSW/ISO19115
- All information at fine grained level can be found via CSW/ISO19115
- Not all information at fine grained level can be found via CSW/EBRIM. This because the EBRIM model does not cover all the details/semantics of the ISO19115 model
