 In this proposal, services (WxS) that are advertised in the metadata are continuously monitored to see if they're up. The current implementation in [http://nationaalgeoregister.nl NGR] just pings them, although more sophisticated checking is envisioned. The results are displayed as a percentage that represents the uptime over a certain period of time. This percentage is displayed in the search results page. The frequency of the monitoring calls and the period over which the percentage is calculated are configurable in the Admin interface.[[BR]][[BR]]
