Simplify Sketch Process — at Initial Version

Description
Currently you have to "activate" (hit green check mark) sketches to enable the ability to add sketch features. This will be cumbersom for sites that do not have edit. There has been discussion about changing default controls to simplify this process. This comment has been added as a ticket so we do not lose that discussion.
