    22GDAL/OGR is generally licensed under the MIT/X license detailed in the [wiki:FAQGeneral#WhatexactlywasthelicensetermsforGDAL FAQ].  This is an OSI approved open source license.  But GDAL/OGR depends on many subsidiary libraries, and includes a few components under specific licenses.
