openev -h crashes loading MapInfo layer when "gdk font load failed"

OpenEV from FWTools-linux-1.0.0a4 crashes loading MapInfo line layer when using
accelerated OpenGL support:

** WARNING **: gv_view_area_bmfont_load(): gdk font load failed: PL
SwitzerlandNarrow
Gdk-ERROR **: GLXBadContextState
  serial 11725 error_code 158 request_code 144 minor_code 12



Without the hardware acceleration, only the warnings are issued and the layer
loads fine.

Using Mandriva 2005, Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000, Nvidia's proprierty driver 1.0-7667.

I'm afraid this is an OpenEV issue, not a GDAL/OGR issue.

You can file it against OpenEV, but I'm not sure if there is anyone who will be available to try and fix it.
