Description
This is an enhancement request to support the 7z archive format for virtual file, e.g. /vsi7z/myfile.7z
The format is supported by liblzma http://www.7-zip.org/sdk.html i.e. if configured --with-liblzma=yes

I should mention that the motivation for this enhancement request is to read .gdb, .shp, or other supported data formats stored within Esri's layer package file (.lpk, .lpkx), which uses a 7z archive file format.
