#6978 closed defect (fixed)

GMLAS: Solids not read as geometries

Reported by: liberostelios Owned by: warmerdam

Description

I tried this in CityGML files, and in case a geometry is stored as a Solid, then it is stored as a string containing the whole xml structure in it.

You can try this with the files in the following folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8v7ftg9afz9bzd3/AAACuhddzi-z59SSYVwJOvewa?dl=0

@liberostelios Hi, could you reach me by email (even.rouault at spatialys.com) ? Not sure to have yours. Was wondering if you would be willing to share some datasets you pointed to me on https://github.com/BRGM/gml_application_schema_toolbox/tree/master/samples ? There are users that are curious to know if the driver can handle big files in particular.
