Description
As initially reported on PostGIS tracker: http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/ticket/2798
I've found a case of conversion between a TIFF and PostGIS raster that keeps CPU very busy for over one hour and an half.
Assuming the main performance problem is in the PgRaster GDAL driver, I'm ticketting it also here.
