Description
I Change the GTiff format image to ESRI image format(*.img). Using the ArcMap software can't open the (*.img) image.

Yong Heng, can you provide (attach) a small .img file generated this way that does not work with ArcMap? What was the gdal_translate command? Can you confirm that you are using current GDAL "trunk"? In particular, a serious bug was fixed several weeks ago with .img generation that made GDAL generated .img files unreadable in older versions of ArcMap, or Imagine and I wonder if you are encountering this?
