Problems when proj is compiled with llvm

The following message appears when you try to compile the proj library with the llvm-gcc frontend of llvm compiler. Maybe this could be useful for Mac OS X users.

I was probe with llvm/llvm-gcc 2.6 and it emulates a gcc-4.2.1 compiler, with gentoo Linux as OS, and a x86 machine.

I know about this problem is the compiler because the problem starts with mapserver, then i look the php, and finally i probe with the proj tools like cs2cs, and got the same error, and the library cannot initialize to process anything, i probe all versions from 4.2 to 4.7 and finnaly when i change the compiler to gcc, works fine.

I do not have ready access to the llvm compiler and thus there isn't really any way for me to follow up on this. I'm going to close it now under the assumption that the problem isn't really with PROJ.4, but the ticket can be reopened if there is something that needs to be done.
