Actually maybe this is invalid. I think my GEOS build is dated 12/22 just before you made the change to shared path. You think that would cause the difference? I'll recompile GEOS and see if that fixes the issue and then close this out if it does. On my other mingw box when I tested last week all was good and I think I have a newer GEOS version on that.

Yes, 3163 of GEOS would make a difference.
