= Kakadu Plugin = 
The Kakadu Plugin is used to read and write JPEG 2000 compressed files including JP2, GeoJP2, and NITF 2.1. Kakadu is a C++ implementation of the JPEG2000 standard by one of its original authors - Dr. Taubman.
