uDig

The uDig package, i.e. the User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS as of ​http://www.udig.eu is in the Desktop category.

Since it is selfcontained in a single folder, it is unpacked entirely into osgeo4w\apps\udig.

The application can be run through:

• its executable osgeo4w\apps\udig\udig.bat
• a desktop shortcut
• a menu shortcut (note that this right now works only on English locale, i.e. where "start menu" is the right folder)
• on the osgeo4w shell through the udig.bat
