SVN checkout of MGOS repository fails

When doing a svn checkout of the MGOS trunk (and probably other branches) the checkout will usually fail at some point with 

Error REPORT of '/mapguide/!svn/vcc/default': 200 OK (http://svn.osgeo.org)

I was able to download about 250 MB of data before it failed, others have reported about 60 MB; so it's not consistent.

The people who have gotten used to this know how to work around the problem, but people who are not familiar with this get confused by this problem, and are not sure how to proceed.

You can reproduce the problem by executing the following command: 

svn checkout http://svn.osgeo.org/mapguide/trunk/MgDev

Is this somehow related to ticket #348?

Hi Tom, I'm setting the "component" to SAC instead of General - that's usually the best so the committee gets your ticket. Also setting to priority critical, assuming people are getting really stuck.

SAC folks will have to comment on the actual issue, I'm not familiar with it.

I have made a try and stopped myself after 1.2GB (my HD is almost full). No problems occurred. I am using svn version 1.6.1 on a Mandriva box.
