Set up FTP for workshop file upload

Jeff and the conference team need a place for workshop presenters to upload data files.

Please set up an appropriate place for FTP uploads (on a telascience server?) that could handle up to 50GB.

His notes: - single generic username/password - is there a way to only allow users to upload only? - keep in mind that we must allow for uploading of DVD images or VMs, so space is needed - once the server is setup I will connect and create the folder structure

Is it possible to restrict the 'foss4g2007' user to have a default directory of /home/foss4g2007/Workshop-Files/ ? (meaning we would like that user to only have access to that directory)
