As recognition for this work, we will pay US$150 to the first person who submits acceptable code for this layer to dev@openlayers and documents it in this page. The OpenLayers Technical Steering Committee must accept your submission. The TSC will evaluate it for adherence to our CodingStandards.

To start building this layer, simply copy the GoogleMapsLayer code and adapt it to use the  Map24 AJAX API.
