OpenLayers.Util.onImageLoad sometimes doesn't work

Description

For some reason, this.map is not always defined inside OpenLayers.Util.onImageLoad. Please don't patch this with a check for this.map. I'd like to see why first.

Ah, I see the "sanity check" was applied in r2286. Excuse the duplication. I'll let this be buried.
