Description (last modified by )
I originally sent this to the user list: > Is there any plans for adding a LABELMINSCALE or LABELMAXSCALE to the > CLASS object???? Currently these only apply to the LAYER object, but I > think it would be useful to have them in the CLASS object as well. For > example, if you have a class that turns on and off at certain scales > (minscale/maxscale set) but you don't want to label it throughout those > scales...currently you cannot do this...well you can but you would have > to create 2 classes, which isn't exactly elegant.

Steve, what would you think of this addition?

I'd rather see minscaledenom/maxscaledenom implemented at the labelObj level rather than the class. It would allow us to simplify our keywords. I think this is compatible with the object referencing scheme we talked about at the sprint as well.
