Description
The documentation (http://mapserver.org/mapfile/symbol.html) on symbols make no reference to the origin for vector coordinates of a symbol.
This post describes the origin as Upper Left:
From: "Lime, Steve D (DNR)" <Steve.Lime@state.mn.us> Date: 4 February 2010 6:53:48 AM AWST Subject: RE: [mapserver-users] Triangle symbol The origin for graphics coordinates is in the UL corner of an image. Symbol defs are the same with 0,0 being the UL corner of a symbol. Steve
It may help others (as this post helped me) if this was noted in the documentation (either under the top notes, or under the POINTS subheading)
cheers
Ben

This seems to be OK in the 6.0 documentation. Closing.
