Mapserver Mapchart - piechart is drawn as a full circle when negligible slice is present

In case that some slice of piechart should be negligible due to the total value of pie (like at the attached image where total value of pie is 1437 and one of the attribute (slice) has size 1), then the piechart is drawn as full circle by color of the smallest slice of the pie. When I switched rendering to AGG instead of GD, the problem with full circle disapear (see attached image). That probably means the problem causes the GD renderer.
