Description
It would be great if the SDE driver by default sets the ows_featureid METADATA to OBJECTID. That would mean a lot less configuration, and since this is in the GDB datamodel it is always the same.

Is there precedence for any other driver behaving this way. I think the code that works with using the ows_featureid should be able to query the driver for its unique id column. PG, Oracle, OGR, and SDE all provide some sort of objectid column. Just setting it in the SDE driver seems like too much of a hack to me.
