Description
RFC 26 (http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/development/rfc/ms-rfc-26), which involved terminology changes such as opacity, scaledenom, and pattern, states that debug warnings will be outputted when the deprecated parameters are used...however in my testing with 5.2.0-rc1 the warnings never appeared. Indeed I have seen "todo add debug warning" in the source code. This ticket will track these changes.
