msQueryByAttributes : does an additional shapeobject argument make sense

Description

There seem to be no easy way to do a query by attribute inside a specific polygon shape. Would it make sense to have a non mandatory argument that could be used to pass a shape object and act as in querybyshape.

I don't understand the use case, why would you want to do that? So offhand I would say no.
