Description 

About the extent function (msOracleSpatialLayerGetExtent) I will try to add this
support for the next version.

Created a bug report so that users can keep track of this.

I think this may have been fixed a few days ago. Can someone please comment and
update this bug, which branches were fixed (4.5 and/or 4.4), etc.

Hi folks,
    I believe that is the same core of problem that occur in bug 1136, I added
some information in comments of #1136.
    I really want to finish this bug, but I don't know, many functions in Oracle
Spatial can do this with many options, but the problem is with 8i version. Can
be one restriction here (8i), for this function?
    I don't know, any hints? Use the postgis solution (mappostgis.c)?
