[MapServer Docs] Translate Cartography Manual

I just found this very neat Mapserver cartography "manual", unfortunately
it is in German (but luckily I can read and speak German):

Is there an English version available? If not I would be interested in
helping with the translation. This could be of so much help to a lot of
users in my opinion.

THis is a very nicely done page. Can you get permission from the owner
to let us translate this and use it on the Mapserver site? Here is a

Google unfortunately does only a limited amount of text, so you would
need to break the page into smaller chunks if you want to avoid a lot of
typing instead of mostly editing.

I got the following response from the author, Peter Freimuth:

Dear Bart,
the document was created by me and a student. I allready discussed with Arnulf 
Christl about creating an english version of this doc. He told me that he will 
create an english version. Maybe he would be lucky to get some help. So the doc 
contained some ne infos for you. It is strange because I did'nt get any feedback 
from the german user list about this documentation!!

cartographic symbols doc is now live at
http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/doc44/cartographic-symbols.html.  Thanks for
everyone's help.  Peter will be providing me english images asap.
