Sandbox areas in SVN are created on the notification of the mapguide-internals mailing list, and the creation of an entry on this page describing the sandbox.

== Sandbox Rules ==
If you need a sandbox for developing a MapGuide feature, please notify a PSC directly or ask on the mapguide-internals mailing list.[[BR]]
In your request, please include the following:
 * Prefered name of the sandbox
 * Project description (For use on this page)
 * List of OSGeo user ID's that need access

Sandboxes are granted to anyone who asks, within reason.[[BR]]
Sandboxes do not require RFC's or tickets until the code is committed to trunk.[[BR]]
The sandbox is publicly available, so do not commit confidential information.[[BR]]
The sandbox is ONLY for MapGuide related development, targeting eventual inclusion in the MapGuide project.[[BR]]
