Overview of changes since 6.3.0

For changes between 6.2.3 and 6.3.0, see the 6.3.0 release announcement. Since the 6.3.0 release in April 2008, more than 1500 source code modifications have been done in the 6.4.0 release branch.

New modules

Major module changes

  • gem6 renamed as gem64 to allow multiple versions of GRASS 6.x to be installed on the same system without conflicting
  • r.stats: fixed one-fewer-bin than asked for bug with FP maps (trac #475) (Hamish)

Minor module changes

  • g.mapsets: Bug fix for many mapsets with long names (Huidae)
  • ps.map: Allow control over legend type (Hamish)
  • ps.map: Fix pattern clipping; four new patterns (Hamish)
  • ps.map: Vector area fills shouldn't fill islands (Hamish)
