r3.mapcalc fails with "unable to fetch interface description"

Description

Seems that r3.mapcalc is completely broken as any expression ends with "unable to fetch interface description". "Syntax eggog. Unexpected '-' expecting STRING or NAME. Parse eggog."

Tested on MS Windows. Somebody, please, test on Linux/Mac to see if it's just platform-specific issue.
