r.cats doesn't exit

command r.cats doesnt exit neither in menu nor in though cli

If it was made obsolete by intention please disregard and close the ticket

r.cats has been renamed to r.category from grass 6.2.3 to grass 6.3.0 on 10/10/07

It true, grassbook needs updating.

On page 133, on about 'Buffering of raster features' clearly uses r.cats over r.category

for grass 6 there is a link to the old name so that r.cats still works as expected from the command line or from scripts. The GRASS book is written for GRASS 6.

for grass 7 backwards compatibility is guaranteed not to be preserved, so the backwards-compatibility name link is dropped and prior documentation is not compatible.
