Description

As reported on the Copernicus site (https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/web/sentinel/news/-/article/change-of-format-for-new-sentinel-2-level-1c-products-starting-on-6-december) the SAFE structure of Sentinel-2 products has changed to a more compact naming schema on 2016-12-06, and the driver needs to be able to handle that.

There's an ongoing work by Julien Michel on this : https://github.com/jmichel-otb/gdal/tree/sentinel2-new-format-support

Pulled Julien's branch: it builds without errors and handles the new format.

Any chance of this getting into the next release?

@CSev I'd like Julien to tell about the status. From what I understood in http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Sentinel-driver-td5299537.html, things are not ready yet.
