Description

I’m very new to python in general and am having difficulty installing GDAL. I have Python 3.5 and am using Anaconda3 (64bit) to run some Jupyter Notebook scripts, which require GDAL and osgeo. I’ve tried numerous sites to try an install GDAL, but I can’t get python to recognize the install. I followed the instructions here : https://pypi.python.org/pypi/GDAL/2.1.0

But the instructions seem to be for GDAL 1.7 which don't match 2.1. I've been trying this for a couple days and have run out of things to try.
