#5224 closed enhancement (wontfix)
libkml_prefix is (erroneously) ignored during build

Description (last modified by )
When building against google libkml-1.3, the libkml_prefix is ignored. Furthermore, the default install of libkml puts the link libraries in a subdirectory "libkml", e.g. /usr/lib64/libkml. So, it seems to make sense to add that as a default path to be searched. Patch attached.

I can't say if the suggested change makes sense or not, but it would be nice if someone who understands enough about the topic would make a review and decide either a) to apply the patch and close the ticket as fixed or b) to deny the patch and close the ticket as invalid or wontfix.

This ticket has been automatically closed because Trac is no longer used for GDAL bug tracking, since the project has migrated to GitHub. If you believe this ticket is still valid, you may file it to https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/issues if it is not already reported there.
