Description
I have GDAL 1.9.2 linked with Poppler 0.22.0 (using fontconfig 2.10.1, freetype 2.4.11 and expat 2.1.0) with PDF support enabled. On certain PDF files it crashes when calling RasterIO getting the first scanline. It crashes in the module FT_Request_Size. Attached is a PDF file which causes the crash.

Does it work if you try pdftoppm on it (or other poppler tools) ? If so, then you can email the file to even.rouault at mines-paris dot org. Otherwise, this is a poppler bug (or more probably a fontconfig one) that must be reported to the appropriate team.

I can't get it to work with Poppler either so I will pass on the problem to them. Sorry for the trouble.

No problem. Closing this ticket as "invalid" (as a GDAL bug)
The file that crashes is too big to attach here. I can email it to whomever will be looking into the problem.
