Description
I'm using GDAL to pre-process a few GRIB files and compare it with degrib and I realized that GDAL processing GRIBs have a displacement of a nearly 0,5 pixel SE. I'm using GDAL 1.7.1, released 2010/02/08
This shift has to do with GDAL's georeferencing model has the origin at the top left corner of the top left pixel while some raster data/products treats the origin as being at the center of the top left pixel
Hamish already created this ticket but for an older version of GDAL: http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/2637 I tried to submit a comment but I was unable to do that.
I attached my GRIB dataset file.
