Description

convert a minimal KML file with ogr2ogr, -f CSV note that the result is a directory with file(s) that are not populated with data

CSV does not support geometry ??

Status: new → closed

I think this bug is invalid as the CSV driver doesn't support geometry writing at all. The name and description fields from the KML are written though, as expected.

The help says : "OGR CSV layer never have any geometry on features, nor do they have an associated coordinate system"
